Just a heads up, it can drop from non solo completions, somewhat difficult to beat the lost sector if telesto is taking up your exotic and option for anti champ mods so me and a buddy each ran one with telesto equipped as well. No need for telesto to even be in your inventory.

Nope. As a general rule you can assume nothing has bad luck protection. It is basically only a thing for a few raid exotics. Nothing else. The drop rate is about 25%. I ran 1600 legend lost sectors and 393 exotics dropped. 1600 / 393 = 24.56%. This DOESN'T mean that if you go run 4 lost sectors right now that you'll have 1 exotic to show for it. You're rolling a 4-sided dice at each chest, hoping to land on the right side.

I did Perdition at least 7 times with no drop. The day before I got the helmet on all 3 characters after about 11 runs. Good luck versus bad luck? Or were the reward drop rates nerfed. I did notice something else in Perdition. The drop rate on a legendary lost sector is bad enough as is. As an example I ran the legendary Aphelions Rest the other day 58 times in a row, with times of anywhere between 2-3mins. In all of those runs I managed to get 5 exotics. 2 of which where in my last 3 runs. So that's an average of 1 exotic every 11.6 runs.
In the meanwhile, the difficulty has only increased. The lost sector of today for example has significantly higher enemy density than most other lost sectors I have done. And the sad part is that with the forced underlight aspect of lost sectors, they don't even have to be at power cap. It wouldn't affect difficulty if they were at the power floor.
